According to the Tracking Board , Gulfstream Pictures and Screaming Mama Productions have announced that they are going to film a children's satirical novel Frindle . Susan Sarandon will star in the full-length adaptation and will be scripted by Sam Harper (Season of the Hunt, Rio 3D).The book Andrew Clements , which was published in 1996, tells about a fifth grader named Nick Allen. The boy decided to rename things according to their origin and started with a regular ballpoint pen, which began to be called "frindl". To the dismay of his teacher, Mrs. Margaret Granger (Sarandon) , this fashion has been picked up all over the world.  Sarandon is known to moviegoers for her roles in Thelma & Louise, The Rocky Horror Show, Lorenzo's Oil, Bulls of Darkham and many others. Soon, the actress can be seen on the big screen in the dramedy Three Generations, where she will be accompanied by El Faning and Naomi Watts.  According to the same source, Sean Gunn ("Giant Mechanical Man") and Steve Agee ("New Girl" / New Girl ) have joined the rapidly growing cast of Greg McLean's new film. The Belco Experiment . The plot revolves around a group of Belco employees who are trapped in their workplace and must decide whether to kill each other or themselves. The script was written by James Gunn, who is the brother of the aforementioned Sean . Sean will play a cafeteria employee suspecting who is behind this terrible experiment.
