Hugo Weaving is 55!
Today celebrates 55 years of Hugo Weaving , playing Agent Smith and Elven Lord Elrond . Weaving was born in Nigeria in 1960. And in 1976 he moved to Australia, where he graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, which also includes Mel Gibson and Geoffrey Rush.The actor has made a successful film career, but prefers the stage of one of the Sydney theaters on the set. He received a Australian Film Institute Award for his roles in Proof and Interview and was also nominated for the award for The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The international fame of Weaving was brought by the trilogies "The Matrix" by Andy and Lana Wachowski, "The Lord of the Rings", followed by the "Hobbit" by Peter Jackson. His Agent Smith is rightfully considered one of the most prominent villains in the 21st century science fiction.  In Transformers, Hugo Weaving also appeared as a villain, voicing an antagonist named Megatron . The actor did not pass by the Marvel cinematic universe: in the blockbuster "The First Avenger" Weaving can be seen as Red Skull , the enemy of Captain America. The actor was also remembered by viewers for the Australian drama mini-series "Bangkok Hilton" ( Bangkok Hilton ) and the films "V" for Vendetta "and" Cloud Atlas ", where one (and the most striking) of his images there was a woman, sister of Knox .
