Joe Wright boarded the assassin's boat
Director Joe Wright (Anna Karenina) has agreed to lead the production of The Lifeboat , starring Anne Hathaway (One Day). The plot of the project will be based on a true story about a shipwreck that occurred in 1914. Charlotte Rogan described this incident in her book. By the way, her novel was included in the top ten best-selling works of fiction in USA in 2012.The book tells the story of how a group of survivors took refuge in a lifeboat after a shipwreck. Among them was a girl named Grace Winters (Hathaway) , who, like everyone else, had to make difficult decisions to save her life. Subsequently, these passengers were brought to trial as indicted for the premeditated murder of the captain and other survivors.  The project will mark a return to the drama genre for Wright , who is currently completing filming for the family adventure film Peng: A Journey to Neverland.
