As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , Uma Thurman has been cast in the lead role in the new comedy The Brits Are Coming , which tells the story of an eccentric British couple traveling to Los -Angeles to commit the jewel theft. Christine Chenowet (Grab and Run) has also signed up to take part in the project.James Oakley (The Devil You Know) will be in charge of filming. He also co-wrote the film with Alex Michaelides. Cassian Elvis, JC Chandor, Robert Ogden Barnum and William Clevinger will be producing. At the center of the action are Harriet ( Thurman ) and Peter Fox , who are sent to the City of Angels to get away from paying the card debt to the notorious gangster.
