Official: McAdams will meet with Dr. Strange
In July of this year, we reported that Rachel McAdams (The Notebook) is in the running for the lead female lead in the blockbuster Doctor Strange . Today, in an interview with The Wrap reporters, the actress announced that her negotiations with the leadership of Marvel studio ended in success.Rachel has not yet revealed information about her heroine. Previously, there were rumors that McAdams could play either the ruler of the Dark Dimension Clay or the writer Morgana Blessing . Now insiders have begun to match the actress to the role of Lynda Carter , nicknamed The Night Nurse . The new theory emerged after Daredevil showrunner Stephen S. Denight revealed that Rosario Dawson was originally planned to be the Night Nurse . Marvel bosses announced their desire to introduce viewers to Lynda Carter in one of their upcoming blockbusters, as a result of which the creators of the superhero show rushed to change the name of the character Dawson to Claire Temple .  Benedict Cumberbatch will appear as the title character in the blockbuster Phase III of the development of the MCU Marvel . Tilda Swinton is cast as The Elder , while Chewitel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo . Rumors surfaced last month that Mads Mikkelsen would be the main antagonist of Doctor Strange .  The film crew of the psychedelic blockbuster will begin work under the direction of director Scott Derrickson this November. The USA premiere of Doctor Strange is scheduled for November 3, 2016 .
