The Chronicles of Narnia will reboot
In October 2013, The Mark Gordon Company bought the film rights from The Walden Group to film the famous book series by C.S. Lewis " The Chronicles of Narnia ". For a year and a half, the fate of the film series was shrouded in an aura of mystery, until last summer David Maggie ("Fairyland", "Life of Pi") announced on his Twitter that he had completed work on the first version of the script for the "Chronicle Narnia: Silver Chair ". At the same time, insiders made an important assumption - in connection with the growing up of the young stars of the previous film, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, the new owners of the franchise may decide to completely change the cast.In an interview with Collider , producer Mark Gordon confirmed the series 'fans' concerns. “Viewers shouldn't hope for the return of the cast of the first trilogy, Gordon said. -The franchise will be rebooted. The “ Silver Chair ” will be led by a completely new team, and the public will have the opportunity to meet other inhabitants of the Lewis universe. We hope to start shooting the film soon. ”  It was expected that King Caspian and Eustace Harm , whose images in the original series were embodied, respectively, by Ben Barnes and Will Poulter, will play an active role in the plot of the picture. Gordon has not yet clarified whether it is only about replacing the actors, or the creators of " Silver Chair " also plan to abandon the use of characters from previous films in the script.
