Skull Island is taking a toll
Deadline reports that Michael Keaton and Jay Kay Simmons have left the project of Legendary Pictures King Kong : Skull Island ".Now only Tom Hiddleston is included in the cast of the picture. Filming will be directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and written by John Gaitins and Max Borenstein. The main reason for the departure of the famous actors is problems with the work schedule, as the shooting of Skull Islands , which was originally scheduled for this fall, has been postponed several months in advance. Currently, Simmons is filming the action movie The Lake, and the actor plans to work on the sci-fi series Counterpart. Michael Keaton is busy on the site of the biographical drama "The Founder", where he will appear as the head of the corporation McDonald's . He is also preparing to make an adaptation of a comic book about imaginary friends.  Studio Legendary Pictures , in turn, intends to find replacements for Simmons and Keaton as soon as possible, in order to begin work on the film at the appointed time. The creators of the new film about King Kong promise to show viewers the mysterious and dangerous realm of the iconic character, which will be explored by a group of brave scientists.
