Empress Sissy will receive two series at once
Andras Hamori H2O Motion Pictures has started work on two miniseries based on the novels by Allison Pataki about the Empress of Austria Elizabeth , who was often called simply Sissy . The information portal Variety writes about it.The first novel, entitled The Accidental Empress , tells the story of the mutual sympathy and attraction that flared up between the Bavarian princess Elizabeth and the young Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph. Initially, the elder sister was given to the ruler as a wife, and Sissy went with her just for company, but the monarch eventually chose Elizabeth . In the second book, Pataki describes how Sissi had to fight a hated and strict mother-in-law, win the love of the people and the whole world, trying to save the Austro-Hungarian Empire.  Andras Hamori , Julia Rosenberg and Doreen Wilcox Little will executive produce the miniseries. Empress Sissy has become the heroine of films and even cartoons more than once. Some of the most famous are the films of Ernst Mariska's trilogy, starring Romy Schneider.
