Dexter's showrunner is preparing a gourmet show
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter , AMC teamed up with Clyde Phillips , showrunner of the hit thriller Dexter ( Dexter ) , is preparing a remake of the Danish TV series Bankerot . A new project called Broke received an order immediately for a 10-episode season, bypassing the scheme with the filming of a pilot episode.Phillips will serve as executive producer alongside Peve Pernt ( The Killing ) and original series creators Henrik Ruben Gentz and Malene Blenkov. The plot revolves around two bosom friends, who for the last time decide to try their luck and open a restaurant together. One of the heroes is an excellent chef, mired in problems with the mafia and the law, the second is the best sommelier in the city, single-handedly raising a teenage son. The new drama is a story about friendship, fatherhood, grief, drugs, growing up, love and, of course, haute cuisine.  “ Clyde Phillips is a talented person whose work we have admired for a long time,- said Charlie Collier, President of the AMC Channel. -He repeatedly proved that he knows how to create complex, vicious and at the same time attractive characters.
