Authors' group ”Transformers”: first candidates
A month has passed since Michael Bay, Steven Spielberg and Lorenzo di Bonaventura, the producers of the Transformers franchise, decided to create a group of authors to develop a cinematic universe based on the franchise. These persons will also be responsible for scripts for various sequels and spin-offs of the blockbuster. Akiva Goldsman was appointed head of the future team.Now the portal Deadline informs that the producers already have a list of candidates for the creative group. If the negotiations are successful, it will include: Robert Kirkman ("The Walking Dead" / The Walking Dead ), Art Markum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), Zach Penn (The Avengers) and Jeff Pinkner (Lost / Lost b>). According to the source, the team will later be replenished with several more authors.  It is not yet known exactly how the group will work, but, for example, James Cameron used the same principle to create the sequels to Avatar. Josh Friedman is responsible for the second part of the franchise about the planet Pandora. Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are working on the third film, and Shane Salerno is writing the lyrics for the fourth. All authors work closely with Cameron .  As for Transformers , Paramount has not yet decided on the number of sequels and spin-offs of the film series. In any case, all the efforts of the company's bosses will surely pay off with interest: the last part to date, "Age of Extermination", earned $ 1.1 billion at the worldwide box office, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2014.
