Sony does not forget about Venom
In February last year, Marvel and Sony announced another reboot of the Spider-Man franchise, and the planned spin-offs were called into question - Venom "And" Sinister Six ". Although the studio's management insisted that it was not abandoning the projects, there has been no news about them since.
The Hollywood Reporter is now reporting that Venom is in progress with Sony hiring Dante Harper (" Edge of the Future "," Witch Hunters ") to write a blockbuster script. It is reported that the project is in no way associated with the upcoming Spider-Man and is intended to start an independent franchise. In recent years, Gary Ross and Joshua Trunk have been intending to lead the shooting of Venom , while Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orsi have presented their vision of the script to the studio.  Topher Grace portrays Venom in Spider-Man 3: Enemy Reflected. The character first appeared on the pages of comics in 1988 and was created by David Michelini. In recent graphic novels, Venom has been taken over by Flash Thompson - the old school enemy of Peter Parker .
