Matthew Vaughn returns to the world of Kick-Ass and Kingsman

Image The world fame and cult status among comic book fans brought the director Matthew Vaughn his work on film adaptations of the famous graphic novels by Mark Millar. In an interview with Empire, the British director admitted that he intends to significantly expand the Kingsman cinematic universe and reboot the Kick-Ass franchise.

According to Vaughn, he has four projects in development at once based on the comics about the Kingsman secret service. First, Matthew is preparing the third film in the main film series, which will bring to its logical conclusion the story of the friendship of a young agent Eggsy (Taron Edgerton) and his mentor Harry Hart (Colin Firth). Secondly, Vaughn has the script for the first spin-off of the franchise. The action tape tentatively titled "Kingsman: The Great Game" (Kingsman: The Great Game) will unfold in the early 90s. Matthew expects to make both films in the same production run.

Another spin-off will be dedicated to the American Service Statesmen, which played an important role in the plot of last year's film "Kingsman: The Golden Ring". Finally, the fourth project of the large-scale universe will be an eight-episode mini-series about the world of super agents.

In addition, in the near future, the audience will be waiting for the reboot of the Kick-Ass movie series. Hollywood insiders speculate that the new film in the franchise will focus on black single mother Patience Lee, who became the main character of the Kick-Ass comic in February this year. Vaughn is also preparing a surprise for fans of the original dilogy. At the moment he is considering the possibility of creating a solo album by Killiwashka. The director has not yet finally decided on the vector of the project's development. Either the audience will meet the already grown Mindy McCready, or they will be waiting for a prequel about how the girl became the perfect weapon under the strict guidance of Papani.
