New Zealand newspaper The Gisborne Herald made an unfortunate mistake by reporting the death of legendary Marvel comic book creator Stan Lee. In a note on this matter, the name of another well-known representative of the American entertainment industry, director Spike Lee, was indicated.

Thus, it becomes clear that none of the chain of specialists who participated in the creation of this article, its editing, recruitment and subsequent publication, was not aware of what happened or was not familiar with the work of both celebrities.

Recall that Stan Lee passed away on November 12, 2018 at the age of 95. The cause of death was complications resulting from pneumonia. The last year of the master's life was darkened by the death of his wife, with whom he had been married for almost 70 years, as well as cases of significant loss of funds from his personal bank accounts.

As for Spike Lee, at the time of this writing, the director is still in good health and actively movieing. A controversial movie called Black Klansman was released in 2018.
