Rambo will go against the Mexican cartel
A couple of years ago, Sylvester Stallone was ready to send John Rambo to retire, but, apparently, over the past time, the actor has changed his anger to mercy. According to the information portal Deadine, producer Avi Lerner and his company Millennium are going to present the project "Rambo 5" to potential buyers at the Cannes Film Festival.While Stallone's participation has not been officially confirmed, however, insiders believe that he plans not only to play the main role in the action movie, but also to lead the shooting. In the meantime, Sly continues to work on the script for the sequel. According to the plot of the fifth part of the cult franchise, the daughter of one of Rambo's friends is kidnapped, because of which John is forced to leave his ranch and cross the border of the United States and Mexico, where he immediately becomes an enemy of the cruel drug cartel. If the first and second parts of the film series were financially successful, then the next two films about John Rambo enjoyed much less success with viewers, and it is not yet clear whether movie fans will be interested in another action movie with the participation of the already middle-aged Stallone, given that First Blood was released on screens 35 years ago.  On the other hand, Sly has a successful experience of returning cult heroes to the screens: his Rocky Balboa fits perfectly into the plot of Creed, and Stallone himself received an Oscar nomination for the film and is already filming a sequel to a sports drama.
