Congratulations Michelle Pfeiffer!
Today, the American actress, Golden Globe winner and three-time Oscar nominee with more than 50 film roles, Michelle Pfeiffer is celebrating her 60th birthday.Michelle Marie Pfeiffer was born in 1958 in Santa Ana, California. Her father was a salesman of air conditioners, and her mother was a housewife. As a child, the future actress was a wayward and freedom-loving girl, she easily got involved in fights and skipped classes to go to a nearby beach and do her favorite surfing. After graduating from high school, the girl got a job as a cashier in a clothing store in order to financially help her parents. After some time, Michelle entered college, where she studied law, intending to become a stenographer in court, but at the school Pfeiffer did not last even a year. In 1978, Michelle, who, it should be noted, was very complex about her appearance as a child, won a local beauty contest. This was followed by the Miss California contest, where she took sixth place. Over the next few years, today's birthday girl appeared in such films as "Lady Hawk", in which she played the role of a beauty cursed by an evil sorcerer and turning into a bird during the day, the fantasy "Eastwick Witches", where Pfeiffer was accompanied by Cher, Susan Sarandon and Jack Nicholson; and the crime comedy Married to the Mafia, directed by Jonathan Demme (her first Golden Globe nomination).  In 1988, Michelle Pfeiffer starred in the historical drama Dangerous Liaisons. The image of Madame de Tourvel, whose heart the protagonist played by John Malkovich tried to win, brought the actress an award from the British Academy, as well as an Oscar nomination. Her next project, the melodrama The Famous Baker Brothers, about musicians who, in order to raise the demand for their work, decide to invite a beautiful vocalist, was also appreciated by viewers and representatives of the film industry - Michelle added another Oscar nomination to her piggy bank and took home the next "Globe" for the best actress. In 1991, Pfeiffer met Al Pacino again - on the set of the romantic comedy "Frankie and Johnny" and a year later she decided to try a new genre for herself and appeared in the image of the legendary villainess Catwoman in Tim Burton's fantastic film "Batman Returns". The role in the drama "Field of Love" brought Michelle Pfeiffer new nominations for "Oscar" and "Golden Globe", in addition, the actress was awarded a prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
