Science for Captain Marvel
Four-time Oscar nominee Annette Bening (American Beauty) is a rare guest in Hollywood blockbusters. The actress prefers to act in independent films, and therefore the news that she will appear in a superhero project came as a surprise to many.Bening has joined the cast of Captain Marvel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will join Brie Larson, who plays the title character, Jude Law, Ben Mendelssohn, Gemma Chan, and Samuel L. Jackson. It is known that the film will also feature Lee Pace, Djimon Hounsou and Clark Gregg, who will return to the big screens as Phil Coulson. Action "Captain Marvel" will unfold in the 90s. The tape will focus on the pilot Carol Danvers, who turns into one of the most powerful heroes on the planet and is drawn into an intergalactic war. Little is known about Annette Bening's character yet, but insiders believe that she will play a scientist, and some sources even claim that the newcomer is Carol Danvers' mother.  Over the past few years, Bening managed to be noted in the films "Beyond the Rules", "Women of the 20th Century" and "Movie Stars Do not Die in Liverpool", and this year she can be seen in the film adaptation of Chekhov's "The Seagull" and the melodrama "Life Itself" from the creator Dan Fogelman's This Is Us.
