Black Panther is not abandoned
Black Panther remains the highest grossing film of 2018 at the North American box office. Ryan Coogler's blockbuster grossed $ 700 million in home theaters, and the only one who analysts say is still able to get around it is the musical Mary Poppins Returns. In this situation, it would be strange if the management of Marvel refused to further cooperation with Kugler.The Hollywood Reporter reports that Coogler will lead the filming and script the Black Panther sequel. The film maker plans to deal with the text of the second part as early as next year, and insiders believe that the filming of the sequel will begin in 2020, and it will be released in 2021. A gap of two or three years will be just enough for the audience to miss T'Challa. The source writes that after the resounding success of Black Panther, Kugler and his team took a breather to avoid public pressure and think carefully before closing a new deal with Disney and Marvel. Patty Jenkins did the same when she did not immediately agree to lead the filming of the second Wonder Woman.  No release date for Black Panther 2 has been announced, but Marvel will likely reveal a schedule for future premieres after the release of the fourth Avengers. As for Coogler, the second T'Challa movie isn't the only project he's interested in. Ryan is also keen on the drama Wrong Answer, starring Michael B. Jordan.
