Nathan Fillion to star in the Uncharted adaptation?
Sony studio announced the start of work on the adaptation of the popular video game Uncharted ten years ago, and since that time, loyal fans of the franchise have not stopped bombarding the major's offices with letters asking to cast the brave adventurer Nathan Drake with actor Nathan Fillion. Today, the star of the series "Castle" and "Firefly" shared with his followers on Instagram a curious message that hints at his involvement in some project based on the popular game series.Fillion posted a photo of Canadian rapper Drake, the Latin dictum "Sic parvis magna" and the date July 16, 2018. The phrase "Great begins small" is often credited to Sir Francis Drake. Fans of the Uncharted franchise will certainly know that Nathan Drake considered himself a descendant of this legendary British navigator. It looks like the meaning of Fillion's cryptic message will not be revealed until early next week. There is a possibility that the actor signed up for the Sony blockbuster. Nathan is unlikely to be hinting at the role of Nathan Drake, since it is already assigned to Tom Holland ("Spider-Man: Homecoming"). Perhaps Fillion will appear in the form of Francis Drake or the mentor of the main character - treasure hunter Victor "Sally" Sullivan. At the same time, one should not exclude the possibility that as a result, a secret project with the participation of an actor will turn out to be a new part of a video game, and not its film adaptation.  The start date for filming "The Unknown: Drake's Luck" has not yet been announced. The blockbuster adventure will be directed by Sean Levy (Real Steel, Mysterious Events), who will implement the script by Joe Carnahan (Team A) and Rafe Judkins (Agents of SHIELD).
