Nagiyev wants justice. Trailer for the drama ”Unforgiven”
On July 1, 2002, the wife, son and daughter of architect Vitaly Kaloev died in a plane crash over Lake Constance due to an error of the dispatcher Peter Nielsen, along with other 68 passengers and crew members. Desperate to await the punishment of those responsible, Kaloev got hold of Nielsen's address and in February 2004 killed him on the threshold of his own house, in front of his wife and children. According to Vitaly himself, he did not remember how he committed the murder. During his testimony, he said that he only wanted to hear an apology from Nielsen. The court found Kaloev guilty and sentenced to eight years in prison.This real story was the basis for Sarik Andreasyan's new film, The Unforgiven. The main role in the film, the first trailer of which appeared recently on the Web, is played by the star of the Fizruk TV series Dmitry Nagiyev. Judging by the video, the plot of the film will exactly follow the events that were widely covered in the media, right up to the scene with the search operations, in which Vitaly Kaloev himself took part. And if, while watching the trailer, you try to forget about Dmitry's comedic role and his brilliant showman career, then you can pay attention to how much effort the actor put into this difficult role. Recently it became known that "The Unforgiven" will become the opening film of the 40th Moscow International Film Festival, which will be held from 20 to 25 April. According to the creators of the tape, it will be an absolutely spectator movie about family values, big losses and about a small person who, it turns out, is not so small.
