Chasing the LSD King

Image Star Thrower Entertainment will tell the audience an amazing story about the confrontation between the prominent American psychologist Timothy Leary and the Drug Enforcement Administration. According to Variety, the Hollywood studio has snatched the rights to film adaptation of Bill Minutallo and Stephen L. Davis's The Most Dangerous Man in America: Timothy Leary, Richard Nixon and the Hunt for the Fugitive LSD King from the hands of competitors.

World fame came to Leary in 1957, when he first presented to the public a test for diagnosing interpersonal relationships. The psychodiagnostic technique quickly gained popularity among psychologists and was adopted by the US army and special services.

After another arrest for drug possession, Timothy announced his desire to become a rival of Ronald Reagan in the election of governor of California. Its official slogan was the phrase "Come together, join the party", which prompted John Lennon to write the famous song "Come Together".

The news of the psychologist's escape infuriated Richard Nixon. Despite the personal intervention of the US President, the hunt for Leary stretched out for 28 months. During this time, DEA agents traveled to several continents and met with American ultra-radicals, European aristocrats and the African Black Panther squad ...
