Dan Stevens becomes Natalie Portman's husband
The team of the sci-fi drama Pale Blue Dot has been joined by Dan Stevens, mutant David Haller from the show Legion, according to Variety. The actor will join Natalie Portman and Zazie Bitz, who signed up for the project last month. Brian S. Brown and Elliott DiGiuseppe are writing the script to bring the story to the big screens.They say, returning home after a long stay in space, astronauts lose their sense of reality. The main character is called upon to prove this theory on her own experience. Her long-term marriage collapses, and the woman tries to find peace in the arms of a colleague (John Hamm), but does not find when he switches to a young intern (Bitz) ... Stevens will play Portman's husband. The plot is based on the real story of astronaut Lisa Novak, who came under investigation for the attempted kidnapping of US Air Force Captain Colleen Shipman and was in a romantic relationship with astronaut William Ofilein. After a long trial, Novak was fired from the Air Force.  The production is handled by Fox Searchlight, with financial support from Bruna Papandrea, Noah Hawley and Reese Witherspoon.
