2019 Golden Globe Nominees Announced

Image The Hollywood Foreign Press Association presented two gifts to fans of films and TV series in one day. She first introduced the hosts of the 76th Golden Globe Awards, and then published a list of nominees for one of the most prestigious awards in film and television.

Killing Eve star Sandra O and comedian Andy Samberg will entertain the guests of the Golden Globe 2019. The idea to bring two popular actors together into a duet of the Foreign Press Association came from the organizers of the Emmy - 2018. In September of this year, Sandra and Andy took to the stage of the Microsoft cinema to present the award for the best directing of a comedy series and amused the audience with a funny scene with an unexpected opening of the envelope with the name of the winner.

The presentation of the nominees for the Golden Globe 2019 was also held today. The names of the candidates for the valuable award were announced by actors Terry Crews, Danai Jackesai Gurira, Leslie Mann and Christian Slater. The leader in the number of nominations in categories for film projects was the biographical dramedy "Vice President", which claims six statuettes. The main pursuers of the picture by Adam McKay were "Green Book", "A Star is Born" and "The Favorite". As far as television projects are concerned, there was no equal to the second season of the crime anthology American Crime Story, which got a chance to win in four categories.

The annual festival of film and television promises to present many surprises to the audience. One of them will be the updated design of the award. Now a miniature copy of the globe will be placed not on the usual marble pedestal, but on a golden column. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has also created a counterpart to the Cecil B. DeMille Film Awards. From now on, during the Golden Globe ceremonies, two special prizes will be awarded at once - for contributions to cinema and for outstanding achievements in the field of television.
