The Iron Man director will conquer a galaxy far away
In November last year, it became known that one of the first projects intended for the streaming platform Disney, will be a game series from the Star Wars universe. According to the Collider portal, the show has attracted another talented filmmaker to a galaxy far, far away: one of the executive producers of the series will be Jon Favreau, who will also deal with the script.Favreau began his career in Hollywood as an actor, and as a director he created the classic comedy Elf and the adventure drama Zatura: A Space Adventure. However, already in 2008, he burst into the world of blockbusters, leading the filming of "Iron Man". It was Favreau and Kevin Feige who had the idea to introduce Nick Fury at the end of the film, and this was the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After the sequel to Iron Man, Favreau's stay in the franchise was limited to the role of Happy Hogan and the functions of a producer, and in 2016 the management of Disney entrusted John with the Jungle Book. The picture about Mowgli became a hit in the box office, and Favreau himself received the post of director of the new "The Lion King". The director also has experience on TV: he participated in the creation of "Revolution" and "Orville". While the new series does not have a release date, the details of the plot of the future project are not disclosed. It is curious that at one time Favreau was eager to lead the filming of the seventh episode, but the coveted place eventually went to JJ Abrams. Now Favreau will finally have the opportunity to travel to a galaxy far, far away.  Abrams, by the way, is preparing to shoot the ninth episode, which will be released next year. Another trilogy of non-Skywalker films is being handled by Ryan Johnson, and in February it was reported that David Benioff and D.B.
