It looks like the epic of the search for a new Batman is coming to an end: Warner Bros. decided on the main contender for the role of the Dark Knight. It was Robert Pattinson. Insiders are still at a loss to say whether the actor has signed an agreement with the major or is still in the status of the favorite of the black coat race.Some sources report that Pattinson has already surpassed all competitors, while others argue that you should not discount the rest of the shortlisted actors for the role of Batman - Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Armie Hammer. If, for some reason, Pattinson does not sign a contract with the WB, designed for the trilogy of films about the Dark Knight, then one of the three will probably replace him. Recall that the director's chair of the new "Batman" was taken by Matt Reeves, who sees the story of the defender of Gotham in shades of noir. He plans to start filming at the end of 2019 or in 2020, and the blockbuster premiere is scheduled for June 25, 2021.
