Johnny Depp will face trial
As reported by The Wrap, on Friday, Johnny Depp's difficulties with the law were added to one more. A crew member has filed a lawsuit against the actor, alleging that Depp hit him while filming City of Lies last year.In a lawsuit filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court of Justice, Gregg Brooks revealed that he worked as a location specialist for one of Depp's films. The situation spiraled out of control at the Barclay Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. At 10:50 pm, the film crew was to take the final evening shots on the street in front of the hotel. Brooks was tasked with informing Depp about this, however, knowing the temperament of the Hollywood actor, he decided to bring in a police officer to help him convince the actor to return to filming. But before Brooks had time to enlist the help of a policeman, Depp first approached him and began to shout: “Who the hell are you ?! You have no right to tell me what to do!”. Then, according to the statement of claim, Depp “angrily hit the plaintiff twice in the lower left chest, causing pain.  After Brooks regained his balance, Depp yelled that he would pay $ 100,000 to punch him in the face. Gregg continued to ignore the actor's antics, and then Johnny's bodyguards took him off the set. The plaintiff notes that during the skirmish, the performer of the role of Captain Jack Sparrow smelled of alcohol. In addition, Brooks claims he was fired when he refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Depp is charged with beating and deliberate infliction of moral harm.
