Millie Bobby Brown investigates poisonous jellyfish
Millie Bobby Brown, who became famous thanks to the series "Mysterious Events" from Netflix, has found a new project. She will star in the film adaptation of the popular novel The Thing About Jellyfish by the writer Ali Benjamin. The production will be directed by Vanuri Kahui (Girlfriend), written by Molly Smith Metzler, and produced by Bruna Papandrea and Reese Witherspoon.According to the plot of the book, the best friend of the seventh grader Susie (Millie Bobby Brown) drowned. Despite the fact that adults say that sometimes terrible things happen for no reason, the girl does not believe in an accident, because the deceased swam perfectly. Susie decides to conduct her own investigation and comes to the conclusion that a rare poisonous jellyfish is to blame for everything. As the main character seeks confirmation of her hypothesis, she is getting better and better at this world, its laws and the very phenomenon of death. Ali's debut novel was released in 2015 and enjoyed incredible success with readers. The Jellyfish Report has already been translated into 20 languages, including USA, and the producers pulled Metzler's script from the Hollywood Blacklist of 2017's Best Unrealized Ideas.  In late May, Millie Bobby Brown will appear on the big screens in the blockbuster "Godzilla: King of the Monsters", and the third season of "Mysterious Events" will premiere this summer.
