Will Armie Hammer join the Gotham Guard?
Ben Affleck recently broke a long silence, finally officially announcing that he will not return to the image of the protector of Gotham in the upcoming solo album of Batman. Immediately on the Web, disputes flared up with renewed vigor about who would replace him. Rumors surfaced today that Warner Bros. is negotiating with Armie Hammer.The actor could have played the Dark Knight 11 years ago. Hammer auditioned for George Miller's Justice League, but at the last minute, WB sent this promising project to the shelf. In early 2017, word went through that the studio was considering Armie's candidacy for the role of Green Lantern. Unfortunately for the fans of the actor, in the end, this information was never confirmed. WB's interest in Hammer is understandable. A 32-year-old actor with a height of under two meters and excellent physical fitness literally asks for the role of some superhero. In favor of Armie is also played by the fact that he has already managed to prove himself as a talented and versatile actor. The creators of the DC MCU can only be confused by the fact that his track record has a couple of very tangible box office failures. Although critics and audiences had no complaints about Hammer himself, nor "The Lone Ranger", nor "Agents A.N.K.L." failed to reach the level of self-sufficiency.  The WB leadership is in no hurry to confirm the fact of negotiations with Armie Hammer. What's more, some insiders claim that studio bosses are looking to cast an even younger actor for the new Batman.
