Laurie Davidson to star in Cats
According to the portal Empire, in the new musical "Cats" directed by Tom Hooper, the selection of actors for the cat roles continues. This time the troupe was joined by Laurie Davidson, the star of Will, in which he played the young Shakespeare.What role Davidson got in the musical is still unclear, as, however, the roles of the rest of the actors are unknown, including such persons as Ian McKellen, who was twice nominated for an Oscar (The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring), James Corden (Everything or nothing "), Golden Globe nominee Taylor Swift (Hunger Games) and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls). The premiere of the new "Cats" is scheduled for December 2019.
