With the decline of the Shrek franchise, which took full-length animation to a completely new level, the DreamWorks Animation movie studio simply had to find an adequate replacement for it. Otherwise, its leading position in this segment of the movie industry would very soon be questioned. With the release of the cartoon `` Kung Fu Panda '' there was hope that a new combination of impeccable animation and pure humor devoid of vulgarity was found. The second part of the cartoon confirmed: before us is a franchise that managed to raise the banner of DreamWorks even higher. It is difficult to describe all the advantages of Kung Fu Panda 2 without accompanying it with desperate spoilers. For animation of the highest quality is so closely intertwined with a brilliant script, that it is absolutely impossible to separate these two ingredients that distinguish an animated masterpiece from mediocrity. In order to suppress the desire to tell the whole fascinating story from beginning to end, interrupting all this from the very beginning sobbing in the spirit of `` how will he do kabdysh '', I will only say that Po, who was lucky enough to find the meaning of life in the first part, is faced with the problem of reconciliation with his past and the search for peace in himself. Believe me, all this just sounds so boring, how boring and banal philosophizing on these topics is. In the case of the panda named Po, we are dealing with a real hurricane of action, organically and sometimes completely suddenly turning into a touching mise-en-scene, which in turn are interrupted by really funny jokes. No other animated movie dilutes so much pathos as well as Kung Fu Panda 2. The characters have deepened even further. Almost all the main characters have a `` past '', some of them have secrets, and some, like Praying Mantis, even yearned for the other half, who traditionally bites off the male's head in the heat of passion. Even minor villains, the magicians from DreamWorks Animation managed to endow stories and experiences that took them out of the category of an expendable mass and made them partly empathize with them. As for the notorious stereoscopy, it is absolutely flawless and justifies all possible markups on tickets. " Kung Fu Panda 2 " - this is a still rare project that absolutely does not give the detractors of the stereoscopic revolution in cinematography once again contemptuously wrinkling their nose. What was missing from Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - the depth of projection, competent work with the "camera" while shooting battle scenes and demonstrating the scale of what is happening - all this is in the continuation of the story of Po and his associates. And the last. A significant part of the success of the cartoon on the USA market will be provided by excellent voice acting, which is impeccable both in the sense of a very subtle transfer of the nuances of the original text, and in the sense of choosing the voices of the actors. In short, "pandamania";, which began back in 2008, will capture even more animation space in the current year, and threaten us with an inevitable continuation.
