Hellraiser will return to screens in 3D
Dimension Films plans to relaunch several of its popular movie franchises, including American Werewolf in London, Scanners and Hellraiser. According to Variety, the remake of the latest movie will be shot in 3D. Who exactly will be responsible for the return of the Cenobite demons to the screens is still unknown. Attached to the project, director Pascal Laugier left it in the middle of summer without giving any reason. Earlier it was reported that the author of the original novel and the 1987 movie, Clive Barker, in the creation of a new version of HellRaisers; will not participate.
