Alien Blu-ray Anthology Announced
20th Century Fox has announced the release of all four movies in the Alien series on Blu-ray discs. The anthology will go on sale October 26, 2010 in two editions: standard and collector's edition. Both options will include the movies themselves in two versions: rental and director's, as well as about 60 hours of additional video materials and 12 thousand frames and photographs from the set. In particular, fans will be able to see Sigourney Weaver's audition for the role Ripley, episodes not included in any of the versions, as well as documentaries about the shooting.
