The Dark Tower Project is under threat of closure
Serious troubles began with the adaptation of the series of works by Stephen King, united by the title The Dark Tower. As reported by the Deadline resource, the September start of the project has already been canceled and, quite possibly, the movie adaptation will be completely postponed until better times. The reason lies in the disagreement between the management of the Universal Pictures movie studio and director Ron Howard over the budget, which, according to Universal bosses are too big. Recall that the project was supposed to consist of three full-length movies and a television series, which will become a link between them. The first movie was due out in May 2013.
