Sean Penn divorced his wife (Topic)

Sean Penn and his wife Robin Wright-Penn are now officially divorced. All the legal formalities required in such cases were settled at the end of July, however, information about this came to the media only now. This is reported by the ContactMusic resource.

The marriage that lasted 14 years ceased to exist on the third attempt. The couple first filed a divorce petition back in 2007, then repeated this attempt in the spring of 2009, but both times they revoked the documents and moved in again.

What caused the final break is not specified. For Penn, this was already his second marriage, previously he was married to Madonna.
