Leonardo DiCaprio proposed as the villainous planter
Quentin Tarantino does not give up trying to attract his projects to Leonardo DiCaprio. Previously, he invited the actor to the movie Inglourious Basterds, but he turned down the offer. Now, as Creative Screenwriting editor Jeff Goldsmith has posted on his blog, the director has invited DiCaprio to star in his western, Django Unchained. The actor is said to play the villainous planter Calvin Candy. with which the main characters will have to enter into confrontation. The movie will take place in the middle of the 19th century, and the plot is based on a fugitive slave who makes a deal with a bounty hunter to free his wife, still in slavery.
