Walther James Bond pistol, with which Sean Connery was pictured on the poster for the movie From USA with Love sold at Christie's for a record price. As reported on the website of the auction house, an unknown buyer, who participated in the auction by phone, purchased the relic for 438 thousand dollars. Thus, the price of the lot exceeded the declared by the seller by more than 10 times. Bidding for another lot, the Darth Vader costume created for the movie Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, was less successful. The organizers of the auction hoped that the cost of such an important artifact for all fans of the space saga would be from 160 to 230 thousand pounds sterling, but the bids did not rise above 150 thousand, and the auction was stopped.
