The culprit who opened fire during the screening of The Dark Knight 2: The Legend Rises in Avrova, Colorado, was acting alone. The picture of the crime began to gradually become clear, thanks to the testimony of witnesses. After midnight, armed with a gun and a pistol, the shooter burst into the hall and threw a smoke bomb. Then he opened indiscriminate fire at the people in the hall. The attacker was wearing a bulletproof vest, as well as a gas mask. Many viewers did not immediately understand what was happening, as there was also a shootout on the screen at that moment. Having shot his ammunition, the attacker left the hall through the fire exit and was detained by police officers who arrived in the parking lot. Weapons and ammunition were found in the criminal’s car. Recall that at the time of this writing, 14 people were killed, about 50 were injured of varying severity.
