Brazil bribes Woody Allen
Aware of director Woody Allen's penchant for movieing outside of the United States, Brazilian officials, as well as the management of the major movie studio Conspiracao, have pledged to pay the director a solid salary if he directs one of his next movies in Rio de Janeiro. So, the studio is ready to pay Allen 15 million dollars, and the state authorities - about two million more. Investors are counting on bringing in such a well-known director to revitalize local moviemaking.
