Sigourney Weaver will star opposite Taylor Lautner in the thriller Abduction, which will be directed by Lionsgate. This is reported by the Variety edition.

According to the plot, which was invented by Shawn Christensen, Lautner will play a young man who discovers his childhood photo on a website that publishes data on missing persons.

The hero finds out that people whom he considered his parents all his life kidnapped him as a child and raised him like a son.

Sigourney Weaver will play a psychoanalyst who helps the protagonist to understand himself and what happened.

The shooting schedule for the project has not yet been approved.
