Bilbo Baggins' starring role confirmed
Filming of the first part of the "Hobbit" dilogy will indeed begin in March 2010, and Bilbo Baggins' starring role has already been confirmed. This statement was made by actor Ian McKellen, who attended a special screening of the director's cut of The Lord of the Rings in London. According to SlashFilm, McKellen has also confirmed his participation in the project.
