Reese Witherspoon was injured in a traffic accident in Santa Monica. According to TMZ, during a morning jog, the Hollywood actress was hit by a car driven by an 84-year-old woman. Fortunately, the speed of the vehicle was not high, so Witherspoon received only minor injuries. Nevertheless, the actress was taken to one of the nearest clinics, where she was provided with the necessary assistance. The police conducted an explanatory conversation with the 84-year-old driver, reminding her of the obligation to let pedestrians pass, and let her go home.
