Avengers ticket sales are breaking records
The Avengers movie pre-sales are breaking records in North America. According to MovieTickets, demand exceeds that for Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America combined. More than 50 percent already sold tickets were bought by spectators for stereoscopic sessions. This is all the more surprising since the movie was shot in a regular format and only then converted to 3D. In the United States, the movie will start at the box office on May 4, 2012.
