China Postpones Transformers and Harry Potter Premieres
China canceled premieres of Transformers 3: The Dark Side of the Moon and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which were supposed to start at the national box office in early and mid-July 2011, respectively. As noted by Variety, the reason for the changes in the distribution schedule was the release of On June 15th, a Chinese movie titled `` The Great Renaissance Begins, '' movieed for the 90th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. Major Hollywood summer movies are said to be released nationally only after executives estimate the box office epic movies corresponding to the importance of the event.
