Danny Boyle tells the story of a climber who cut off his arm
Danny Boyle has lifted the veil of mystery over his next movie project. In an interview with DigitalSpy, the director revealed that the movie will focus on “dramatic events that happened several years ago.” He declined to clarify exactly what the issue was, citing the need to resolve the copyright issue. Most likely, Boyle is going to shoot a movie about mountaineer Aaron Ralston, who became a media hero in 2003 after a dramatic incident in one of the canyons of Utah. Then, as a result of a rockfall, Ralston's arm was broken and squeezed between large stones. After five days of unsuccessful attempts to free himself, the climber was forced to cut off his arm with a knife. It is assumed that the main role in the movie will be played by actor Ryan Gosling.
