Review of the movie Quantum of Solace. This Bond adventure is darker, more interesting, but not more significant

The duration of the Quantum of Solace 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is a good half hour shorter than the previous movie about 007. This time was clearly not enough, so the movie turned out to be a little far-fetched.

Briefly about the main thing.

After Bond's meeting with the mysterious Mr. White in the final shots of Casino Royale, in Quantum of Solace he is already starting to hunt all over the globe. Bond tries to hunt down a shadow organization that he believes is responsible for the death of Vesper, the woman he loved, and who dies at the end of the last part.

While searching, he meets a disgusting guy named Dominic Green, played by Matthew Amalric.

Emotional aspect.

Familiar to tears. But this movie, unlike others, shows how emotionally broken Bond is, explains his mission and motives.

There are a few odd moments in the movie where Bond's personal story is somehow tied to Green's ambitious plans.

To a large extent, atrocities accompany Bond himself on his emotional journey.

The plot of the movie is built around the mission of agent 007, but what is really interesting is how Bond deals with people and situations during the course of events.

It's not like the movie is giving up on key points from previous stories.

Despite the lengthy hints of Goldfinger, this movie does the trick of taking the franchise to the next level.

The content of the movie may be a bit disappointing for those who yearn to see gadget-hung Bond taunting his faceless opponents.

Supporting role.

This is a bold move to expand on the themes raised at Casino Royale, especially the question of who Bond really is and why he is.

This darker part seems to be the second episode of the trilogy.

Most of the movie Bond – is not at all an attractive hero, and it is only thanks to Craig's play, along with the quirky morality of his legions of enemies, that he manages to win the audience over to his side.

Olga Kurylenko, who plays a completely different type of female companion than before, perfectly succeeds in a role deeper than that of Bond girls.

The small role of Gemma Arterton as the agent Bond encounters in Bolivia confirms her status as a bright young star.

As usual, the movie's ending contains an unambiguous promise of Bond's return, and thanks to Quantum of Solace the expectation is high.

And the next picture should not be watched in order to watch Bond's struggle with another super villain, but to see a new stage in the development of Craig's hero, who succeeds in this from movie to movie.

"Quantum of Solace" out on October 31st.
