Actress Daryl Hannah arrested at the gates of the White House
Actress Daryl Hannah was arrested by Washington police for taking part in a protest in front of the gates of the White House. As NBC reports, the star of the Kill Bill dilogy was detained and escorted to the police station along with a hundred of her like-minded people who declared their disagreement with the plans to build an oil pipeline that would connect Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. Police officers several times offered protesters to clear the road leading to the residence of the President of the United States however they refused to do so. “Sometimes you have to sacrifice your freedom to gain even more freedom.
