Liam Neeson to star in Battleship (Topic)

Liam Neeson has joined the cast of the science fiction movie Battleship. It is reported by the Variety edition. The actor was invited to play the US Navy Admiral Shane, the future father-in-law of the protagonist, played by Taylor Kitsch.

Supermodel Brooklyn Decker will play the role of the future wife of Kitsch's character. The movie also stars Tadanobu Asano, Alexander Skarsgard and singer Rihanna.

The stereoscopic movie will be released in May 2012.
