Joseph Gordon-Levitt was called to The Dark Knight 2 (Topic)

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is likely to continue his collaboration with director Christopher Nolan. According to Deadline, the actor has been asked to play in The Dark Knight 2: The Legend Rises, which will conclude Nolan's Batman trilogy.

What role is given to Gordon-Levitt is not yet specified. Earlier, rumors circulated that Nolan plans to commission the actor to play the Mystery Man.

Earlier it became known that Anne Hathaway will play Catwoman, and Tom Hardy - a character nicknamed Bane. Filming will start in May 2011.
