Mads Mikkelsen will become the new Hannibal Lecter
Danish movie actor Mads Mikkelsen, known to viewers for his role as LeCifre in Casino Royale and Rochefort in The Musketeers, will play the role of Hannibal Lecter in the NBC and Gaumont International Television series. This is reported by the Deadline resource. The TV project dedicated to the famous cannibal, which was invented by the writer Thomas Harris, will consist of 13 episodes. The first of them will be presented to viewers in the fall of 2012. Earlier it became known that the role of FBI agent Will Graham in this project will be played by actor Hugh Dancy.
