Suitcase maker sues Marvel over Avengers case
The German company Rimowa has filed a lawsuit against Marvel, accusing the latter of illegal use of its property. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is a copy of Nick Fury's case, which will feature a collector's edition of the movie " Avengers " (Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One - Avengers Assembled Box Set). The lawsuit alleges that the original case was provided for movieing the movie, and Rimowa has no complaints about how it was used. However, Marvel has not received any permission for further exploitation of Rimowa's property, especially in the form of a plastic copy in which licensed discs will be sold. In addition, this case does not correspond to the level of quality with which associates Rimowa products, and damages the company's image and business reputation.
