MGM forced the sequel to Raging Bull to be renamed
MGM has settled its dispute with the creators of the sequel to Raging Bull. This is reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Under the terms of the pre-trial agreement, MGM abandons its claim, and the movie's producers change its name and publicly reject any connection between the project and Martin Scorsese's painting. The new name is Bronx Bull. This was the nickname of boxer Jake La Motta, whose story formed the basis of the original movie.
